We are almost there.

Lot’s done in the last couple of weeks.  Tiling is finished finally after a 3 week marathon…maybe more, kinda lost count but they look great.

Electrics are all done.  Sinks, bath and taps in – taps not on straight though so they’ll have to return to fix them.

Next week they finish the front facade and plumb in the downpipes plus various plaster fixes and painting touch ups.

Currently scheduled to move in 22nd September – yahoo!!!

Awesome floor!

Tiling has hit day 5 now. The tilers have been taking their time to make sure our wood look tiles look good. They’ve done a great job I reckon. Hoping they will wrap up on the bathrooms, laundry and kitchen by end of the week.

And in other news, our fence extensions arrived.  Looks like a job for the weekend.IMG_1495

Lockup stage and painting.

We finally have our missing awning window and brickwork is finished so are at the lockup stage…. finally.  Also painted too – cool.  Reasonably happy with the paintwork.  They didn’t do much sanding though.

The concrete slab has finally been fixed inside after sacking Cornell’s Concreting.  Porter Davis got a new guy in to grind back the rectification work that Cornells ‘tried’ to do and then fix it properly.  We now have a mostly level slab inside – good enough to lay the tiles on anyway.  What a saga – the slab was laid in February and fixed in August.  5 long months!

We are still waiting for the exterior of the slab to be fixed – sigh!!
